That passion blossomed into a Family Craft Farm !

  • Who are we...

    Micro Cultivations is a small-scale craft farm based in beautiful and bucolic Sherborn Massachusetts surrounded by nature in a community rich in agricultural history. What started as a passion for gardening has blossomed into a productive tech savvy vertical farm, driven by our desire to share the fruits of our labor with Sherborn, Dover, Natick, Medfield and most other neighboring communities.

  • What we do...

    We specialize in the culinary accoutrements that elevate the flavor profile in everything from smoothies and home meals to fine dining restaurants. We take immense pride in the fact that these super greens are for absolutely everyone, from the health conscious looking for high nutrition superfoods, to foodies looking for a memorable dish that will stand out above the rest! We cultivate and produce a variety of microgreens, baby leaf greens, and edible flowers.

  • How we do it...

    Through adopting various technologies from multiple agricultural arenas, coupled with over a decade of cultivation experience, we have fostered the perfect environment to produce an impressive range of microgreens. Think of it as an indoor greenhouse where we can control and manipulate every environmental aspect. From ambient temperature and humidity to light and air flow, we can create the optimal conditions and micro-climates for our greens to thrive and reach their full culinary potential, 365 days a year.

Sustainable Practices are Fundamental to Us

We use plant based compostable packaging and 100% post-consumer recycled plastic containers with easy peel labels, eco-friendly & reusable cold packs and recyclable paper packing materials for home deliveries, to help others reduce their footprint too!

Our unsold produce is donated to animal sanctuaries & other farms and the used soils are either composted or added to our family garden beds to be recycled back into nature for future crops and flowers.

The unique indoor growing methods we use allow us to capture and reuse crucial resources like water, and it reduces the strain & impacts to native soils, flora and fauna, by not having to till or use pesticides.

We are proud to serve our community and those that surround us and to be a part a low impact eco-friendly farming practice that promotes environmental sustainability and sensibility.
